We are looking for a dynamic individual with good attention to detail to support Innovis’ sheep breeding activity from May – December 2025.

Reporting to our CEO the Administrative Support will work alongside our Ram Production, Breeding Programme, Marketing, and Commercial Services Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In association with the Ram Production Team, take responsibility for animal livestock movement records.
  • To provide administrative support to the genetics team in the preparation of packs for the 2025 ram sales.
  • To support the Technical Services Manager and Geneticist in coordinating farm visits and data capture for the Welsh Sheep Genetics Programme Farms across Wales.
  • To assist the Commercial Services team in coordinating and data handling muscle/backfat scanning service across the UK.
  • To assist in marketing and communications activity, with specific responsibility for the ProHill group.
  • To assist with ram sales and other duties associated with general business activity.

Key Skills:

  • Professional attitude with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent Welsh language speaker.
  • Commercial acumen with a sheep farming background
  • Good computer literacy skills, especially Microsoft Excel and data handling.
  • Can do attitude, team player.

Terms of Employment:

  • The role will be full-time based on 36.5hrs per week.
  • The appointment will be for seven (7) months, starting at the beginning of May and finishing at the end of November 2025. These dates are flexible with prior agreement by both parties.
  • Holiday entitlements will be pro-rate based on the employment period.
  • Excess hours worked can be taken off as TOIL throughout the period. Any hours outstanding at the end of the employment period will be paid.
  • This can be developed to an annual seasonal arrangement if agreed with both parties.
  • The salary will be based on experience and a 4% contribution to the Company’s Stakeholder Pension Scheme after 3-months work.
